Pat Robertson has decided that the skit Saturday Night Live did with Jesus (played by Jason Sudeikis) visiting Tebow (of the Denver Broncos) was not humor, it was "an attack on Christianity".
I wonder if he said the same thing about South Park? Or Family Guy? Or American Dad? Did he say that to or about the people at Comedy Central in 2010 when they wanted to do a show about "JC"? (Read It Here)
Tim Tebow is a Christian; a Christian who plays football. He is a devout Christian, as can be evidenced by his words and actions both on and off the field. I don't see Pat Robertson talking against Tim Tebow for playing in the skit; only about SNL for writing and showing it. Why is Tebow not being slammed for his part in it?
Mr. Robertson, if Tim Tebow didn't mind playing in the skit, and didn't mind someone playing Jesus coming to visit him, then neither should you.
