Oh Elmo, the lovable little red fur-ball that is Elmo! He is adorable, with a squeaky voice, awkward little limbs, and an abundance of love to share; so why is it that some people (at least on BabyCenter's Momformation Blog) hate sweet little Elmo?
There's a documentary film being released on October 21, 'Being Elmo'. It's about the man behind the puppet, Kevin Clash, and how he
went from being a puppet-making nerd in high school to the voice of one of the world's most beloved characters. (Rebecca Dube)
Personally, I love Elmo! I think he's a much more enjoyable character than Animal, or even Big Bird, who has, IMO, become sickening. Even the Count, whom I used to absolutely love, has become repetitious and boring to me. (Like 'The Bill' sitting on Capital Hill; I'm just a bill, I am only a bill...) Do you have a favorite kiddie character? Who is it, and why? What about poor Elmo?
BTW, I'm a 52 year old grandmother who watches Sponge Bob, Back at the Barnyard, and Penguins of Madagascar regularly.
